Nicole Clausen is a seasoned expert in the veterinary industry with nearly 20 years of experience, including over a decade in small animal practice. Starting her career as a receptionist and working her way up to Operations Manager, Nicole developed a deep understanding of the complexities of successful veterinary clinics. In 2017, she founded Veterinary Care Logistics, a consulting firm specializing in veterinary inventory management, where she has since helped hundreds of practices nationwide develop sustainable inventory systems.
Nicole is the creator of the Certified Veterinary Inventory Professional® (CVIP) program, the first certification of its kind, and hosts the popular Inventory Nation podcast, which boasts over 100 episodes. She is also the author of Inventory Management for Veterinary Professionals and co-founder of Inventory Ally, an innovative inventory management software. Through her work, she has spearheaded initiatives such as Veterinary Inventory Manager Appreciation Day and the Veterinary Inventory Manager of the Year award.
